Integrated Reporting for Corporate Management: What Type of Reporting Will Satisfy Long-Term Investors?

Venue: 2013 Investor Relations Conference of the Japan Investor Relations Association (JIRA), Integrated Reporting Workshop (12, 16, 2013)

Content: Investor Impact consultants gave presentations on integrated reporting jointly with representatives of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) at the Integrated Reporting Workshop of the annual JIRA Investor Relations Conference. We were pleased to welcome 84 participants, representing 73 companies, to our session. Judging from the post-seminar questionnaire, the participants found the content useful and expressed interest in a number of follow-on topics. We take this occasion to express our thanks to the participants and our co-sponsor, IIRC.

In summary, our presentations reviewed the practice of integrated reporting, which has drawn considerable interest among investors and corporations in recent years. The presentations included reports on the significance and objectives of integrated reporting, the relationship of integrated reporting with investor relations, and the likely positive results for capital markets in the medium-to-long term.
